SUPPORTING PUBLICATIONS

All authors of the papers accepted for the conference will be given the oppurtunity to publish their work in supporting journals.

The acceptance is subject to peer review by the conference scientific committee and payment of registration fee.

The conference will be supported by the following journals:

1. Environmental Chemistry Letters

Environmental Chemistry Letters covers the interfaces of geology, chemistry, physics and biology. Articles published here are of high importance to the study of natural and engineered environments. The journal publishes original and review articles of outstanding significance on such topics as the characterization of natural and affected environments; behavior, prevention, treatment and control of mineral, organic and radioactive pollutants; interfacial studies involving media such as soil, sediment, water, air, organism, and food; green chemistry, environmentally friendly synthetic pathways, and alternative fuels; ecotoxicology and risk assessment; environmental processes and modelling; environmental technologies, remediation and control; environmental analytical chemistry, biomolecular tools and tracers.

2. H2Open Journal

The H2Open Journal is an open access journal that publishes original, peer-reviewed, internationally relevant articles covering all aspects of 21st century water research: fundamental science, application of science and technology and impact of societal and political and economic factors. It considers research papers, critical reviews and short communications; multi-disciplinary articles are encouraged.

3. Environmental Chemistry for a Sustainable World

Environmental chemistry is a fast developing science aimed at deciphering fundamental mechanisms ruling the behaviour of pollutants in ecosystems. Applying this knowledge to current environmental issues leads to the remediation of environmental media, and to new, low energy, low emission, sustainable processes. The topics that would be covered in this series, but not limited to, are major achievements of environmental chemistry for sustainable development such as nanotech applications; biofuels, solar and alternative energies; pollutants in air, water, soil and food; greenhouse gases; radioactive pollutants; endocrine disruptors and other pharmaceuticals; pollutant archives; ecotoxicology and health risk; pollutant remediation; geoengineering; green chemistry; contributions bridging unexpectedly far disciplines such as environmental chemistry and social sciences; and participatory research with end-users.

4. Sustainable Agriculture Reviews

Sustainable agriculture is a rapidly growing field aiming at producing food and energy in a sustainable way for humans and their children. Sustainable agriculture is a discipline that addresses current issues such as climate change, increasing food and fuel prices, poor-nation starvation, rich-nation obesity, water pollution, soil erosion, fertility loss, pest control, and biodiversity depletion..

5. Resource Efficient Technologies (REFFIT)

Resource-Efficient Technologies publishes research and review articles, short communications, commentaries, and book reviews in the ever broadening field of sustainable and resource-efficient technologies, which reduce energy and materials consumption, reduce or completely eliminate toxic waste, develop closed-loop recycling technologies with the purpose of sustainable, economically efficient and socially use of all natural resources and man-made products.
